PokerStars Championship

The PokerStars Championship , or PSC for short , was a series of poker tournaments hosted by PokerStars . It was played at seven locations around the world in 2017 and was one of the most important poker events this year, alongside the World Series of Poker and World Poker Tour .

history

In August 2016 it was announced that the European Poker Tour , which has been held since 2004 , will be discontinued after the EPT Prague in December 2016 and will be replaced by the PokerStars Championship . In addition, the PokerStars Festival has been held since November 2016 . In mid-December 2017 it was announced that the main tournament series of PokerStars will be played again under the name European Poker Tour from 2018 .

The PSC Main Event was broadcast live on YouTube and Twitch in several languages ​​for free. The German stream was commented on by Jens Knossalla and Martin Pott with changing guests such as Felix Schneiders and Benjamin Rolle .
