Juliane Domscheit

Juliane Domscheit (born August 21, 1988 in Potsdam ) is a German rower.

Domscheit was a student at the Potsdam Sports School and trained under the guidance of Jutta Lau at the Potsdam Rowing Society .

She celebrated her first sporting success in 2006 with a second place in the single at the Junior World Championships in Amsterdam and the following year as a member of the German double fours with fourth place at the U23 World Championships in Strathclyde Country Park .

After moving up to the senior level, she was in September 2007 at the European rowing championships held in Poznan 13th in the single. In the summer of 2008 she was nominated by the German Rowing Association (DRV) as a substitute in the German double foursome for the Summer Olympics in Beijing . Most recently she was fifth at the DRV small boat inspection in Cologne and is therefore safe in the national team at the next World Cup in Munich in 2010.
