Julie Gervais (born July 22, 1991 ) is a French tennis player .

Career

Gervais, who started tennis at the age of five , prefers hard courts. She mainly plays tournaments on the ITF Women's World Tennis Tour , where she has won two singles titles so far. She played her first professional tournament in Grenoble in January 2008 , and won her first game in July 2008 in Valladolid , where she also made it into the main round of a $ 25,000 tournament for the first time. From 2009 to 2011 she only played three to four tournaments a year. From March 2012 to February 2015, she did not play a tournament due to injury.

After her return, she reached the semi-finals twice at tournaments in Heraklion in October 2015 . At the beginning of November, she won her first title in Stockholm when she defeated Anastassija Shoshyna 6-1 and 6-4 in the final . Her second title followed at the end of March 2016 in Heraklion, where she defeated Polina Vinogradova 6: 3 and 7: 6 5 in the final .
