Julien Duvocelle

Julien-Adolphe Duvocelle (* 1873 in Lille , France , † 1961 in Corbeil-Essonnes , Essonne department , France) was a French painter.

Life

Duvocelle was a student of Léon Bonnat at the École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts de Paris . He exhibited regularly at the annual exhibitions of the Paris Salon des artistes français . According to the exhibition catalogs from 1897 to 1927, he mainly painted portraits of women. For his portrait de ma mère he was awarded a bronze medal at the Paris World Exhibition in 1900 .

In 1906, Duvocelle illustrated the calendar of the French company for the production of cigarette paper Job .
