Juliette Labous (born November 4, 1998 in Roche-lez-Beaupré ) is a French cyclist .

Athletic career

In 2015 Labous became the French junior time trial champion . In 2016 she was able to repeat this success at the French road cycling championships and also win the junior road race, she also came in eighth at the cyclocross world championships in the U23 area. At the European Road Championships and the World Road Championships , she won the bronze medal in the junior women’s time trial.

For the 2017 season she switched to the adult sector and signed a contract with the UCI Women's Team Sunweb . She won the last stage of the Tour de Feminin and thus her first professional race. At the European Road Championships in 2017 , she was tenth in the time trial and sixth in the U23 junior road race. At the World Championships in Bergen , Norway , she finished the time trial of the women's elite in 15th place.

In 2018, at the age of 19, she was second in the elite national championships and thus the winner of the U23 individual time trial. She finished the road race in sixth and second in the U23 classification. At her first Giro d'Italia Femminile , she won the opening team time trial, wore the white jersey for three stages and finally came third in the youth championship. At the World Championships , the Frenchwoman was 13th in the elite individual time trial.
