Julija Fominitschna Dombrowskaja ( Russian Юлия Фоминична Домбровская , scientific transliteration. Julija Fominična Dobrovskaja ; Nov. 29 * . Jul / 11. December  1891 greg. In Yelets , Oryol Governorate , Russian Empire ; † 26. September 1976 in Moscow , USSR ) was a Soviet pediatrician. She delivered significant work in the fields of clinical findings and treatment of infectious allergic diseases, acute pneumonia and functional disorders in children, as well as the proportion of vitamins in physiological processes. She received the Order of the Red Banner of Labor , the Lenin Prize and the Order of Lenin three times .

Julija Dombrovskaja was born on December 11, 1891 into a veterinary family. She spent her childhood in the east of Oryol located Yelets . Some time later, her family moved to Rostov-on-Don . In 1906 she graduated from high school with distinction. From 1906 to 1913 she studied at the Saint Petersburg Feminine Medical School. From 1913 to 1916 she worked as an assistant doctor at the Sophienkrankenhaus (now Filatow Children's Hospital) in Moscow under the direction of an excellent pediatrician Ivan Rachmaninow. In 1936 she was elected professor. From 1951 she headed the Institute for Children's Disease of the IM Sezschinow Moscow State Medical University. At the same time, she was chairman of the board of the Moscow Association of Pediatricians. In 1952 she was elected an academician of the Academy of Healing Sciences. Dombrowskaja was an honorary member of the Bulgarian Association for Pediatricians and the Jan Evangelista Purkyně Czechoslovak Medical Association. In September 1976 Dombrowskaja was on Moscow's Novodevichy Cemetery buried.
