Julija Ihoriwna Nikolić ( Macedonian Јулија Николиќ ; Ukrainian Юлія Ігорівна Ніколич ; born April 20, 1983 in Dnipropetrovsk , Ukraine ; born Julija Ihorivna Portjanko ) is a former handball player . The native Ukrainian played for the club ŽRK Vardar and for the Macedonian national team .
Nikolić won both the Macedonian Championship and the Macedonian Cup with Kometal Gjorče Petrov Skopje between 2004 and 2009, the Turkish Cup in 2010 with Üsküdar Belediyespor , the French Championship in 2012 with Arvor 29 - Pays de Brest and the 2012 French championship with ŽRK Vardar in 2014 and 2015 respectively the Macedonian Championship and the Macedonian Cup.
Nikolić took part for Macedonia in the women's handball championship in 2008 in Macedonia, where she and her team finished seventh.
On June 3, 2012, she announced her resignation from the national team after leading Macedonia to qualify for the 2012 European Championship . In November 2012, however, she returned to the national team and took part in the 2012 European Championship for the injured Elena Gjorgjievska . In the course of the tournament she scored a total of 14 goals.
