Julio Moreno Mogollón (born June 12, 1995 ) is an Ecuadorian racing driver . He started in the Euroformula Open in 2016 .

Career

Moreno began his motorsport career in karting , in which he remained active until 2011. 2012 Moreno moved to the Formula racing and went for JTR in the British Formula Ford to. With one win he reached fourth place overall. In 2013, Moreno stayed with JTR and competed in the Northern European Formula Renault . He finished 25th in the overall ranking. In 2014, Moreno moved to Manor MP Motorsport within the Northern European Formula Renault . He finished the season in 22nd place in the drivers' championship. He also made four guest starts in the Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup for the racing team .

In 2015 Moreno competed for Threebond with T-Sport in the European Formula 3 Championship . A 15th place was his best result. In 2016 Moreno switched to Campos Racing in the Euroformula Open . Two seventh places were his best results and he finished 14th in the drivers' championship.
