On the occasion of an exhibition in the Rotunda in Vienna , the architect Adolf Loos describes Hügler's products, which were also on display at exhibitions, as “not much, but very well chosen”.
His two sons Julius jun. (* 1878) and Heinrich (* 1885) joined their father’s company as partners after completing their apprenticeship in 1908. Customers included the highest circles and members of the imperial court. In 1913 the Hügler brothers successfully applied for the title of purveyor to the imperial court. At that time the annual turnover was around 500,000 crowns .
