Julius Müthel
Julius Müthel (born August 18, 1841 in Schujen , † August 21, 1906 in Riga ) was a German-Baltic Lutheran theologian .
Life
Müthel attended the Dorpater Gymnasium from August 1858 to December 1860. He studied theology in Dorpat from 1862 to 1865. He was ordained a preacher in Riga on February 17, 1867. As a preacher of the Lutheran Church, he worked at three churches: 1870–1883 in Lubahn , 1883–1887 at the Jesus Church in Riga, 1887–1903 at St. Anne's Church. Church in St. Petersburg .
As part of the revision of the agenda of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Russia , Müthel wrote a number of theological writings in the 1890s that had a decisive influence on the creation of the order of worship.
