Julius Pastorius

Julius Josef Pastorius (born June 9, 1982 ) is an American jazz musician ( drums ).

Live and act

Pastorius, son of Jaco Pastorius , first played bass before switching to drums. In South Florida he led the band Way of the Groove , in which he formed the rhythm section with his twin brother Felix Pastorius . Since 2008 he has been part of The Heavy Pets , with whom he released two albums. He played several concerts Memorial for his father often with his brother, with whom he also in the band 7th World of Robert Thomas Jr. worked. In 2011 he performed with Mike Stern at the Sant'Anna Arresi Jazz Festival. In 2012 he performed in Germany with Ralph Herrnkind's band. He can also be heard on Randy Bernsen's album Grace Notes (2016).
