Julius counter

Wilhelm Julius Counter (born May 13, 1827 in Bautzen , † October 26, 1913 in Dresden ) was a German educator and author of books for young people.

Live and act

After attending the seminar school in Bautzen and teaching (1841-1848) at the preparatory school and the seminary in Bautzen Julius count was in 1848 tutor to Mr. Chamberlain of Watzdorf in body . In the following year he became elementary teacher at the city school in Königsbrück and in 1855 teacher at the Rath und That school in Dresden . In 1857 he moved to the teaching and education institute for daughters of educated classes and the associated seminar for teachers in Friedrichstadt-Dresden as senior teacher and deputy director . In 1865, Meter was appointed to the Gräflich Vitzthum'sche Gymnasium as senior teacher.

He was a member of the Geography Association in Dresden .
