José Carlos Ferreira Júnior , called Juninho , (born February 1, 1995 in Londrina , Paraná ) is a Brazilian football player . The strong foot of the defender is the left.

Career

Juniho began his career in the junior division of the Junior Team Futebol in his hometown of Londrina. From this he switched to Coritiba FC in his youth . With this he played his first game as a professional on July 26, 2015. In the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A 2015 he played against the Corinthians São Paulo from the start. As a result, he played almost all league games for the rest of the season. On May 20, 2016, it was announced that the player had extended his contract with Coritiba to 2018. In this context, the interests of Flamengo Rio de Janeiro , FC Lyon and Dynamo Kiev were also mentioned. Juniho made his international club debut in August 2016. In the Copa Sudamericana 2016 he played against EC Vitória on August 26, 2016 .

In May 2017, Juniho moved to Palmeira in São Paulo . To buy Juniho from his contract, which runs until 2020, the club paid a transfer fee of three million euros. From May 2018 Juninho was loaned to Atlético Mineiro until the end of the year . After his return in early 2019, he played no role in Palmeiras' plans and was loaned to league competitor EC Bahia in July until the end of the year. In the course of the current season, it was announced at the end of October 2019 that Juninho was moving permanently to Bahia. At Bahia he got a contract until the end of 2022.
