Act

It is known for their orchestral pieces of psytrance . In addition to Ben Watkins as head of the project, there were and are changing guest musicians. Juno Reactor was founded in 1990 and became famous for the work on soundtracks of the Matrix trilogy.

In 1994, Juno Reactor attracted attention when she was recruited by Traci Lords to produce her debut album.

Due to the numerous stylistic changes, Lars von Ragazzi described it as "almost impossible" to describe or narrow down the sound of this project. The debut album Transmissions was based on techno , the successor Beyond the Infinite on the emerging Goa / Psytrance . On the third album, world music elements such as drums were added, which is why the music is also known as "Ethno-Goa". Lars von Ragazzi described God Is God together with Laughing Gas , Conga Fury , Pistolero and Master of the Universe as an “excellent insight into the universe of this band”. Numerous Juno Reactor plays deal with religious subjects.

Ben Watkins performs worldwide as a DJ under the name Juno Reactor .
