Juntoku ( Japanese 順 徳 天皇 , Juntoku-tennō ; * October 22, 1197 ; † October 7, 1242 ) was the 84th Tennō of Japan (December 12, 1210-13 May 1221). He was a son of Go-Toba- tennō.

Juntoko ascended the throne in 1210. On May 13, 1221, he resigned and handed over the throne to his son in preparation for the coup d'état against the Kamakura shogunate . In the subsequent Jōkyū war, however, the imperial faction was defeated, and Juntoku was banished from Kyōto along with his father Go-Toba and his brothers.
