Juozas Šakinis
Juozas Šakinis (born March 19, 1946 in Pakutuvėnai , Rajongemeinde Plungė ) is a Lithuanian politician.
Life
In 1964 he graduated from the Aleksandravas School near Plungė and learned wood art processing at the technical center for applied arts in Telšiai . In 1977 he graduated from the Valstybinis dailės institutas in Vilnius and became an art teacher. From 1969 to 1972 he worked at the Research Institute of Technical Aesthetics in Vilnius. From 1992 to 1996 he taught at the Kretinga Institute of the Vytauto Didžiojo universitetas . From 1996 to 2000 he was mayor of the Kretinga district .
From 1995 he was a member of Lietuvos krikščionių Demokratieų partija , from 2006 of Tėvynės sąjunga .
