Yuri Savelyevich Slotnikov

Yuri Saweljewitsch Slotnikow (also Yuri Zlotnikov , Russian Юрий Савельевич Злотников ; born April 23, 1930 in Moscow , USSR ; † September 25, 2016 in Moscow) was a Russian artist.

Life

Yuri Slotnikow was born in Moscow in 1930 . Between 1943 and 1950 he attended an art school. In the 1950s, the young artist worked in the natural science department of the VDNH exhibition ( All-Russian Exhibition Center ). From 1954 Slotnikow continued his artistic education at the Bolshoi Theater in Moscow for three years . Between 1960 and 1981 he ran the children's painting studio “Pionier-Haus”. In 1972 he joined the Association of Russian Artists and became the curator of the Moscow Artists Association, MOSH . One work is in the Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow.
