Yuri Sorin
Juri Sorin ( Russian Юрий Зорин , English transcription Yuriy Zorin ; born September 4, 1947 in Turinsk ) is a former Soviet hurdler and sprinter .
In 1969 he won bronze over 400 m at the European Indoor Games in Belgrade as well as silver in the 4-by-390-meter relay and at the European Athletics Championships in Athens silver in the 4-by-400-meter relay .
At the European Athletics Indoor Championships in 1970 he won bronze over 400 m and gold in the 4 x 400 meter relay, and at the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich he was eighth in the 400 meter hurdles .
