action

After a long night of partying with lots of alcohol and other drugs, Steffen and Lennart find themselves in a tricky situation: After Steffen knocked a stereo system off a shelf, buddy Ben was hit by her unhappily and died instantly. The corpse should now be discreetly disposed of. Steffen asks his cousin David for help, who in turn turns to his dealer and shady colleague Theo, who agrees to help dispose of the corpse. But only because he hopes for help for his start-up company, which is not going to get off the ground. More and more friends and acquaintances are drawn into the case by Ben, including his girlfriend Lucy, who knows nothing of her boyfriend's death. During a girls' evening, she moves around the houses with her friend Kira. The night ends at a police station, but the two are allowed to leave again. Finally they meet Theo, Steffen and Lennart, who are just about to sink Ben's body into the Elbe

criticism

Katrin König writes:

"Just drifting along" is not a comedy where you keep patting yourself on the thigh, but it is a thoroughly amusing film with the potential to smile. [...] All in all, "Just drifting along" is a thoroughly successful young film that waits for the viewer with lots of little smiles. Also worth mentioning is the pleasantly good camera work by Detlev Niebuhr and the convincing performance of Jannik Büddig, who embodies Theo and has become known, among other things, through various Tatort productions.

Awards
