history

The group Justice for the Damned was founded in 2011 in the capital of the Australian state of New South Wales , Sydney , and consists of the singer Bobak Rafiee, the two guitarists Kieran and Nick Adams, the bassist Ben Mirfin and the drummer Chas Levi.

Although founded in 2011, the first major musical sign of life only followed three years later with the release of their debut EP Black Vol. I: Slave , which was self-produced and published. A second EP with the title Ruin - Repair followed in the following year and was also financed out of pocket. The band signed a record deal with the Greyscale Records label and released their debut album Dragged Through the Dirt through this record company . The album made it onto the album charts in Australia, where it debuted at number 37. In March 2020, the group announced their second album Pain Is Power, initially for May 8th of the same year. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Australia, the release of the album has been postponed to June 12th.

From February 14 to 18, 2018 Justice for the Damned played as the opening group for Thy Art Is Murder , which was also accompanied by Emmure and Fit for an Autopsy . The band had previously played with Thy Art Is Murder on their European tour between September and October, which also featured Oceano and After the Burial .
