Fit for an Autopsy (FFAA) is a deathcore band from New Jersey that was formed in 2008.
history
Singer Nate Johnson previously played in other, partly well-known bands in the death metal and deathcore scene. He has played in Through the Eyes of the Dead , Burnt by the Sun and Deadwater Drowning . Founding member Seth Coleman previously played with The Acacia Strain . Coleman has left the band, however.
Fit for an Autopsy are signed to Black Market Activities , a sub-label of Metal Blade Records . The debut album The Process of Human Extermination was released on June 21, 2011 and is sold worldwide. Fit for an Autopsy previously released a demo CD in 2008 and an EP Hell on Earth a year later.
Back then, singer Nate Johnson, bassist Charlie Busacca, drummer Brian Mathis ( Forgetting Tomorrow ) and guitarists Will Putney (Forgetting Tomorrow, ex- Nothing Left to Mourn , ex- Signed with Hate ) and Pat Sheridan (Nothing left To Mourn, Shattered) played Realm ).
The band entered the US hard rock charts for the first time in 2013 with the album Hellbound . Two years later, Absolute Hope and Absolute Hell were also able to place in the top 20 there. With their fourth studio album, The Great Collapse , they entered the official album charts for the first time .
