Career
Justyn Denisiuk began his career with Podhale Nowy Targ and went through the Polish youth national teams. In November 1981 he traveled to Germany with the Polish national team for the first time and played there against the German national team in Rosenheim. In the spring of 1982 he took part in the 1982 B World Cup in Klagenfurt am Wörthersee . Denisiuk managed in the context of the tournament to break away together with his teammates Bogusław Maj and Andrzej Małysiak . The players stayed in Austria for half a year and then applied for asylum in Germany . Denisiuk and Maj joined the EV Füssen and stayed fit there during the 18-month international ban. The then coach Gerhard Kießling took care of the young Polish players. Denisiuk and Maj stayed in Füssen for a year and then moved to Iserlohn with Gerhard Kießling. When Gerhard Kießling was released from work in Iserlohn, he placed her at the EC in Cologne .
Shortly after the start of the 1984/85 season , the two were eligible to play and made their debut on September 28, 1984 for the KEC. At first it was difficult for Denisiuk to assert himself, only when Hardy Nilsson took over the Haie in the summer of 1985 he was able to assert himself better. In the 1985/86 season , Cologne won the championship and defended the title the following year. From the 1987/88 season he played for Eintracht Frankfurt and helped to stabilize the team in the second year after promotion. He took on the same task when he moved to the newly promoted EC Hedos Munich, for whom he played for three and a half years from the 1989/90 season. From December 1989 he played here again with Bogusław Maj. At the end of 1992 he joined the Schwenningen ERC . After the end of the season, the journey continued to EHC Essen West in the 2nd Bundesliga. This was followed by further positions at ESC Wedemark , EC Wolfsburg , EC Wilhelmshaven-Stickhausen and ETC Timmendorfer Strand . He made a brief comeback in the 1999/2000 season at ESV Bergisch Gladbach in the Regionalliga.
After his playing days, Denisiuk moved to Kerpen . After a break from ice hockey for a few years, he took on a coaching position in the Cologne Haie youth team .
