Justyna Koeke

Justyna Koeke (* 1976 in Krakow ) is a contemporary performative artist .

life and work

Koeke has in Krakow , Warsaw , Nuremberg and Stuttgart sculpture studied. In her works she primarily deals with the female body. She regularly uses the naked, female body in public to criticize existing conditions.

ART magazine dedicated a portrait to her in issue 9/2018.

She works at the interface between fine arts and fashion. She lives in Ludwigsburg and has been a lecturer in the textile media and performance departments at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart since 2006 . She has been a member of the Darmstadt Secession since 2016 .
