Jutta Hering-Winckler

Jutta Hanna Edith Hering-Winckler (born November 21, 1948 in Minden ) is a German lawyer and chairwoman of the Richard Wagner Association in Minden. She has received several awards for her civic commitment.

Live and act

Hering-Winckler is the daughter of the administrative officer and Prussian district administrator Norbert Hering . She has been running a law firm in Minden since 1977 as a lawyer and notary . Hering-Winckler is a specialist lawyer for administrative law .

Since 1999 she has been chairwoman of the Richard Wagner Association in Minden. On the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the association, an opera , Wagner's Der Fliegende Holländer , was produced and staged for the first time by the Richard Wagner Association Minden on their own responsibility at the Minden City Theater in cooperation with the Northwest German Philharmonic Orchestra , due to their initiative and personal commitment . This was followed by the operas Tannhäuser (2005; directed by Keith Warner) and Lohengrin (2009). For the Lohengrin production, Hering-Winckler was able to engage the opera director John Dew as chairwoman of the Richard Wagner Association in Minden . In 2012, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Richard Wagner Association in Minden, Wagner's opera Tristan und Isolde was staged at the Minden City Theater . Hering-Winckler's commitment as a “tireless motivator” who made “Minden the Wagner capital of North Rhine-Westphalia” was recognized again. The laudations were given by Minden's Mayor Michael Buhre and District President Marianne Thomann-Stahl . The Wagner performances in Minden have also attracted national attention since 2005.

Hering-Winckler is a board member of the Ostwestfalen-Lippe Philharmonic Society .

She is married to the former regional church office president Michael Winckler and has four children.
