Jutta Lange-Quassowski

Jutta-Barbara Lange-Quassowski (* 1944 ) is a German political scientist (SPD).

Lange-Quassowski received his doctorate "on American occupation policy in Germany after the Second World War" at the University of Göttingen . She wrote articles, among other things, on human suffering under National Socialism and the New Right in the United States. From 1978 to at least 1998 she worked in parenting and for ten years as a local politician for the SPD in Wallenhorst .

From 1981 to 2006 she headed the Ernst Strassmann Foundation, among other things, for coming to terms with Nazi crimes. In 2005 she was awarded the Cross of Merit on Ribbon for her many years of voluntary work, including in the field of political education and for refugees in Germany .
