Károly Lovik
Károly Lovik (born March 9, 1874 in Budapest , † April 19, 1915 in Budapest) was a Hungarian writer and literary translator.
Life
Károly Lovik was a trained lawyer . He worked as a journalist and writer and was considered a horse and hunting dog expert. In addition to the specialist books he wrote on horse racing and breeding, he also translated Pushkin , Turgenew , Chekhov and Oscar Wilde into Hungarian. His stories and novels are considered a reflection of his time.
