Käthe Theuermeister
Käthe Theuermeister (pseudonym: Helga Henning ; * February 21, 1912 in Leipzig ; † January 3, 2011 ) was a German writer .
Life
Käthe Theuermeister worked as an office worker for a long time . From 1940 she lived in Giessen , where she married; the marriage resulted in five children. From 1959 she was a freelance writer . She last lived in Pohlheim .
Käthe Theuermeister published numerous books for children and young people , of which the volumes about the protagonist "Hummelchen" were a great success. With these works, Theuermeister proved to be a late representative of the traditional " fried fish literature ".
