Cologne-Düsseldorf crime committee

The Cologne-Düsseldorf crime committee is an association of German crime authors who live in Cologne and Düsseldorf . It was founded in March 2009.

Members are Martin Conrath , Horst Eckert , Sabine Klewe from Düsseldorf, as well as Brigitte Glaser , Martin Schüller , Ilka Stitz and Stefan Winges from Cologne.

The authors appear together at readings and present the texts in dialogue. The name alludes to the carnival tradition of the two cities and ironizes the mutual animosity that prevails there .
