Martin Conrath

Martin Conrath (born December 4, 1959 in Neunkirchen (Saar) ) is a German writer. He is also a drummer .

Life

He began training as a drummer in 1973 and toured Germany with bands and ensembles until 1996, including Alice Hoffmann and the groups Embryo and Captain Sperrmüll . From 1990 he worked as a freelancer for the Saarbrücker Zeitung and SR . From 1991 to 1993 Conrath completed a traineeship at the Saar-Lor-Lux magazine "Tabou" (Luxembourg) and finally wrote his own literary works from 1994 onwards. From 1997 to 2000 he was employed as a lecturer for journalism and style at the Volkshochschule Saarbrücken and then he was at the technical college for medical health professions of the SHG in BrebachLecturer in communication, team training, language and style. In April 2004 the first Saarland crime thriller Stahlglatt was published by emons-verlag in Cologne.

Together with Sabine Klewe , he wrote several historical detective novels. The two use the pseudonym Sabine Martin .

Martin Conrath is a member of the Cologne-Düsseldorf Crime Committee and the Association for the Promotion of Historical Literature.
