The Königsbergalm is an alpine pasture in the Königssee forest district in the municipality of Schönau am Königssee .

Three barns of the Königsbergalm are under monument protection and are registered under the number D-1-72-132-98 in the Bavarian monument list.

Building description

The Grafenkaser is a single-storey, combed block building with a protruding flat gable roof . The two-room Kaserstöckl in the interior was also built in block construction. The building dates from the 17th or 18th century and was later renovated.

When Kramer Kaser is a single-story Flachsatteldachbau with Legschindeldeckung massive eaves sides and verschindelten gable block walls. The ridge purlin is marked with the years 1806 and 1923.

The Hafnerkaser is a single-storey quarry stone building with a flat saddle roof, hooked head and gable cladding and dates from the second quarter of the 19th century.

Todays use

The Königsbergalm is used as a landscape and is open to guests in the summer months.

location

The Königsbergalm is located southeast below the Jenner at an altitude of 1555  m above sea level. NN up to 1620  m above sea level NN . The Alm stretches in an easterly direction to the vicinity of the Schneibsteinhaus .
