The Köroğlu Dağları (dt. " Köroğlu Mountains ": plural of " Dağ ", dt. " Mountain ") are a mountain range of the West Pontic Mountains about 60 km north of Ankara in northern Turkey .
The Köroğlu Dağları extend over a length of about 400 km in a west-east direction between the rivers of Sakarya in the west and Kızılırmak in the east. Both rivers, together with the Kirmir Çayı, also form the southern boundary of the mountains. North of the Köroğlu Dağları, the North Anatolian Fault runs along the Devrez Çayı and Gerede Çayı rivers . The mountain range reaches a maximum height of 2399 m in Köroğlu Tepe . There is a winter sports area on the mountain slopes of Köroğlu Tepe .
