Kōhei Shimoda ( Japanese 下田 光 平 Shimoda Kōhei ; born April 8, 1989 in Akita Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .

Career

Shimoda learned to play soccer on the school team at Akita Commercial High School . He signed his first contract with FC Tokyo in 2008 . The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . In May 2009 he was loaned to the second division Mito HollyHock . For the club he completed 31 league games. In 2011 he returned to the second division FC Tokyo. In 2011 he won the Kaiser Cup with the club . In 2011 he was with the club master of the J2 League and rose to the J1 League. In March 2012 he moved to the second division club FC Machida Zelvia . For the club he completed 16 league games. In 2013 he moved to league competitor V-Varen Nagasaki . For the club he completed 28 league games. In 2015 he moved to third division club Blaublitz Akita . For the club, he completed 56 league games. At the end of 2017 he ended his career as a football player.
