Kōichi Ae ( Japanese 阿 江 孝 一 Ae Kōichi ; born April 15, 1976 in Hiroshima Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .
Career
Ae learned to play football on the school team of Aki Fuchu High School and the university team of Chūō University . He signed his first contract with Gamba Osaka in 1999 . The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . In 2000 he was loaned to league rivals Avispa Fukuoka . In 2001 he was loaned to league rivals Kashima Antlers . In 2003 he moved to the second division Montedio Yamagata . For the club, he completed four league games. At the end of 2005 he ended his career as a soccer player.
