KEØMA is a music project that consists of the musicians Kat Frankie and Chris Klopfer . They refer to their music as "Night Drive Pop".
history
Both had some success as solo artists when Kat Frankie met Chris Klopfer in 2011 after one of their concerts in Cologne. It quickly turned out that they had the same musical preferences. They decided to work together - but mostly separately from each other. Klopfer lives in Cologne and the Australian Frankie found a new home in Berlin in 2004.
This encounter resulted in an EP and a joint album in 2015 , which was released on January 29, 2016. They were on tour for the album from March 3rd to 20th, 2016 in twelve cities in Germany. Due to great demand there was an additional concert on March 28th in Berlin, where the final concert took place on March 20th. The second album was released on June 7, 2019, followed by a tour in Germany, as in 2016.
Keoma participated in the February 25, 2016 at ESC preselection Our song for Stockholm entitled Protected part. They took 8th place out of 10 participants with 3.32% of the votes cast in the first voting.

Trivia
- The video for the title Protected was shot in November 2015 with Marleen Lohse , Martin Goeres and Tim Neuhaus, among others , mostly in the Bassy Cowboy Club in Berlin.
