Jon Grayson's show Overnight America ran for years on KMOX and was also broadcast on the CBS stations WCCO in Minneapolis and KDKA in Pittsburgh . It ran nationwide from January 30, 2012 to December 1, 2016. The show was syndicated by Westwood One ( Cumulus Media ).

distribution

KMOX transmits via its transmitter with a constant power of 50 kW. For many years the station broadcast its stereo signal on medium wave in C-QUAM AM stereo ; but in the spring of 2000 these broadcasts ended u. a. because this stereo method on medium wave did not prevail in the USA. Nowadays, KMOX broadcasts an HD radio signal after the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) issued a license for digital and analog broadcasting (hybrid).

Like WSDZ, the radio broadcaster is responsible for activating the Greater St. Louis Emergency Alert System in the event of disasters and extreme weather conditions.
