Career

Kaštrun made his international debut as a Nordic combined athlete at the 1984 Winter Olympics in Sarajevo . In the individual he reached the 27th place. There he surprisingly reached 16th place . He finally finished the tour with 53rd place in Bischofshofen . At the end of the tour, he finished 45th overall.

At the Nordic World Ski Championships in 1985 in Seefeld in Tyrol , he started in the individual from the normal hill and landed on the 43rd place.
