Kaarel Kiidron (born April 30, 1990 in Urvaste ) is an Estonian football player . The defender plays for FK Viktoria Žižkov in the Czech Druhá fotbalová league .

Career

Kaarel Kiidron initially played for FC Lootos Põlva as a youth . At the age of 16 he moved to JK Tammeka Tartu . From the youth of Tammeka, he joined the first team in 2009 and was able to fight for a regular place there. After three seasons, where he was sixth and seventh twice in the league with the team from Tartu , the tall defender moved to FK Viktoria Žižkov on loan at the end of the 2011 season together with teammate Siim Tenno . By the end of the 2011/12 season he came in the second half of the season as a regular player in central defense to ten appearances in the top Czech division of the Gambrinus League . With the club he could not avoid relegation to the Druhá fotbalová liga at the end of the season, however, Kiidron decided to stay in the second division with the club from the Prague district of Žižkov .

National team

Kaarel Kiidron made her debut for Estonia for their U-21 selection in February 2011 against Finland . After half-time he came into play when Marek Kaljumäe was 1: 1 , and in the end the juniors from Finland won 4: 1. This was followed by two successful appearances in the same year with victories against Luxembourg and Latvia . In 2012 Kiidron was invited for the first time for the A-Elf of Estonia by national coach Taarmo Rüütli for the international match against Croatia in Pula . He made his debut for his homeland with striker Henrik Ojamaa . The central defender benefited from a knee injury from Alo Bärengrub , which Kiidron came to the national team at short notice.
