Alo Bärengrub (born February 12, 1984 in Kehtna , Rapla County ) is a former Estonian football player .

Career

Bärengrub began his football career at FC Lelle in the Esiliiga where he made his debut at the age of 16. A year later, the defender moved within the league to FC Valga . From 2004 to 2007 Bärengrub played for Flora Tallinn . In January 2008 he moved to the Norwegian Tippeligaen to promoted FK Bodø / Glimt . After the contract in Norway was not renewed, Bärengrub made a trial training with the Portland Timbers . However, due to the foreigner regulation in Major League Soccer , Portland refrained from signing, so Alo Bärengrub looked for a club in Estonia again. He found this in the form of the Tallinn district club JK Nõmme Kalju . In December 2011, Bärengrub extended his contract until the end of the 2012 season .

Alo Bärengrub was a member of the Estonian national football team .
