The Ch'oe Yŏng-rim cabinet formed the government of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea from June 9, 2010 to April 1, 2013 . It replaces the second government under Kim Yŏng-il , which emerged from the 2009 parliamentary elections .

Ch'oe Yŏng-rim was elected by the 12th Supreme People's Assembly on June 9, 2010 . However, the appointment of the ministers took place later. Until then, the ministers of the previous government were still entrusted with running the business . At the Seventh Session of the People's Assembly, Pak Pong-ju was elected to succeed Ch'oe Yŏng-rim.

The role of the government of North Korea is limited compared to other countries. The government is mainly exercised by the National Defense Commission headed by Kim Jong-un .
