Kadie Rolfzen (born August 25, 1994 in Papillion , Nebraska ) is a former American volleyball player .
Career
society
Rolfzen began her career in 2013 with the Nebraska Huskers team at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln , where she played on the external attack position. During her time with the Huskers, the outside attacker received the Nebraska Student-Athlete HERO Leadership Award (2014), was elected to several All-Star teams and won the national championship (2015) as well as first place in the Big Ten Conference (2016). In November 2016, she lost with the Nebraska Huskers team in the semi-finals of the national championship in Ohio and thus missed the title defense.
After graduating from the University of Nebraska at the end of 2016, the reigning German champions and cup winners Dresdner SC announced the signing of Kadie and her twin sister Amber on December 29th of that year . She received a contract until the end of the current 2016/17 season. There Rolfzen reached third place with the team in the championship standings. At the end of the season Rolfzen left the Dresdner SC again and moved to Japan to Toray Arrows . In the 2018/19 season she played for Henan Nuzi Paiqiu Dui in China . In mid-May 2019, Dresdner SC announced the return of Rolfzen for the 2019/20 season; she signed a one-year contract in the Elbe city. With the club she managed to win the DVV Cup . After the current season had been declared over by the German Volleyball Bundesliga on March 12, 2020, before the last matchday of the main round due to the global COVID-19 pandemic , Rolfzen agreed with the Dresdner SC on the immediate termination of the contract and gave in April 2020 the end of the sports career will be announced.
National team
In 2018 she was on the US national team for the Pan American Cup, which the Americans won.
Private
Her parents are Mark and Teresa Rolfzen, her sister Amber Rolfzen is also a volleyball player. The identical twins were part of the Nebraska Cornhuskers squad and were part of the Dresdner SC squad in the 2016/17 season.
