Papillion is a city and county seat of Sarpy County on the eastern edge of the US - state of Nebraska .

Papillion lies at 41 ° 9'21 "north latitude and 96 ° 2'27" west longitude, lies in the far east of Nebraska and borders directly on the state of Iowa . history
