Kadri Muhiddin

Kadri Muhiddin (* 1956 in Basrah ) is a British entrepreneur. In 2007 he founded Amac Aerospace together with Bernd Schramm and Mauro Grossi and has been Chief Executive Officer of the company based in Basel , Switzerland , since 2010 .

Life

Kadri Muhiddin grew up in Tripoli and attended the Tripoli boys' school there. He later went to the Brunel University of Technology in Bristol, where he studied aircraft maintenance technology and avionics , and graduated as a licensed engineer. He earned a bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering from Kingston University in London in 2005 .

Muhiddin began working as an engineer for line and aircraft maintenance in 1977 with Iraqi Airways and from 1979 with Kuwait Airways . After the invasion of Kuwait in 1990, he and his family moved to Great Britain, where he founded Gamit Ltd. which offers spare parts, technical advice and technical data management and has been led by Nadeem Muhiddin, the youngest son, since 2015. In 2004, he was hired by Jet Aviation to become head of Europe, the Middle East and Asia. A year later, in 2005, Kadri Muhiddin founded a second company, Tailwind Airways , which is based in Turkey and offers charter flights, wet and dry leases for all major tourism companies that need additional aircraft to meet their needs. In 2007, Kadri Muhiddin, Bernd Schramm and Mauro Grossi and Enomis Holding founded AMAC Aerospace in Basel, Switzerland. Today the company is the largest private MRO & Completion Center in the world

Kadri Muhiddin has been a member of the Royal Aeronautical Society in Great Britain since 2010 and is on the boards of Gamit LTD, Tailwind Airlines, Gamit Off Shore Lebanon, JCB France, AMAC Aerospace Turkey and AMAC Aerospace Switzerland.

Personal

Kadri Muhiddin speaks Arabic and English. He has a private pilot license. He is married and has three sons and lives in Bodrum , Turkey.
