Kadriye Aydın (lawyer)

Kadriye Aydın (born November 26, 1970 in Lich , Germany ) is a lawyer. She is a member of the board of directors of the Intercultural Council in Germany and in this function is often present in the German media.

In addition, the headscarf- wearing Muslim woman is a founding member of the Christian-Islamic Society in Gießen eV, employee of the Forum against Racism as well as the Evangelical Academy Arnoldshain and the working group Interreligious Women's Forum of the Ministry of Social Affairs in Hesse . Aydın is also a member of the board of trustees of the Muslim Academy in Germany, founded in Berlin in 2004 .

The daughter of parents of Turkish origin grew up in Germany and works full-time as a lawyer with various areas of focus in Darmstadt.

On July 12, 2007, Kadriye Aydın was invited to the TV show Maybrit Illner on ZDF. It was a broadcast on the relationship between Germans and Muslims.
