Kai Bruckmann (born November 20, 1970 ) is a former German soccer player .
Career
Bruckmann moved from the North Rhine-Westphalian top division club Schwarz-Weiß Essen to FC Schalke 04 . There he was used in the Bundesliga . In the 1994/95 season Bruckmann experienced the climax of his career when he was substituted on by coach Jörg Berger in the 83rd minute of the game against Dynamo Dresden when the score was 4-0 for Jiří Němec . It was his only use in professional football. Later he played for the Sportfreunde Oestrich-Iserlohn and the DJK TuS Hordel in the Oberliga Westfalen . For Oestrich-Iserlohn he scored five goals in 35 league games between 1999 and 2001 and for TuS Hordel two goals in 22 league games in the 2001/02 season .
He won bronze at the 1993 World Cup with the German national military team.
