Torsten Kai Holzapfel (born August 23, 1970 in West Berlin ) is a German author and actor .

Life

Torsten Kai Holzapfel was born in 1970 in the (now former) Berlin district of Wilmersdorf and grew up in Berlin, Frankfurt am Main and Kassel . He currently lives and works in Berlin and Potsdam . He works as an editor and author for Rundfunk Berlin-Brandenburg . In the 1990s he moderated broadcast formats on MDR Sputnik , the youth radio of the Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk . He then worked as a speaker, author and editor for MDR, ARD Digital , ProSieben , Kabel eins and N24 . He developed multimedia broadcast formats and moderated for ProSieben between 1999 and 2001 some of the television programs produced exclusively for the Internet in German-speaking countries.

Kai Holzapfel also plays in various German cinema and television films, series and independent productions. In the movie Jerry Cotton he was seen as agent Jimmy Stone on the side of Christian Tramitz and Christiane Paul . In Miguel Alexandres ZDF - two-part fateful years with Maria Furtwängler , he took on the role of a Nazi propaganda officer. In the international horror production The Key , he played the desperate gangster Hector, directed by Gedeon Burkhard .
