The location is at an altitude of 161 m above sea level. NHN near today's Siegfriedstrasse and the S-Bahn station Zoologischer Garten in the residential area of the Zoo in the Elberfeld-West district . On the Topographia Ducatus Montani by Erich Philipp Ploennies from 1715, the place is recorded as Keisersbusch . In 1832 Kaisersbusch belonged to the Pickartsberger Rotte of the rural outskirts of the parish and the city of Elberfeld . The place, categorized as Kotten according to the statistics and topography of the administrative district of Düsseldorf , was designated as Am Kaisersbusch and at that time owned a residential house and an agricultural building. At that time there were five residents living in the village, all of whom were Protestant.
From 1838 to 1841 was railway Dusseldorf-Elberfeld by the Dusseldorf-Elberfeld Railway Company until after Elberfeld Steinbeck built by Emperor Bush. During the First World War, the railway line was expanded to four tracks, at the latest by this time the Kaisersbusch location was integrated into the residential area of the Wuppertal Zoo district .
