Callicles (son of Eunicus)
Kallikles ( ancient Greek Καλλικλῆς ), son of Eunikos, was a Greek sculptor who v to 300th Was active in Megara .
He is only known from an inscription on a statue base found in Megara, on which a bronze portrait statue stood. The dating of the creative period of Callicles was deduced from the font of the artist's signature. It is unclear whether the callikles mentioned by Pliny as the ore caster of statues of philosophers is this callicle. A relationship to the namesake Callikles , who also comes from Megara, has been suspected, but can also not be considered proven.
