Kalyl Amaro (born June 28, 1998 ) is a French sprinter who specializes in the 400-meter run .

Athletic career

For the first time in an international championship, Kalyl Amaro competed at the U20 European Championships in Grosseto 2017. There she reached the semi-finals in the individual competition and was eliminated there with 55.30 seconds, while she took fifth place with the French 4 x 400 meter relay in 3: 34.54 minutes. In 2019 she won the U23 Mediterranean Indoor Championships in Miramas in 54.76 seconds and thus received a place in the relay for the European Indoor Championships in Glasgow , where she finished fourth in 3: 32.12 minutes. Then she retired at the U23 European Championships in Gävle with 54.00 s in the first round and was disqualified with the relay in the final.
