The Kamen ( Russian Камень; in German: "stone") is a 1701  m high mountain in the northern part of the Krasnoyarsk region , of Siberia and Russia ( Asia ) and at the same time the highest mountain of the Putorana Mountains and thus of the Central Siberian Mountains .

Southwest of Kamen summit stems from the Kotui , and a few kilometers west to extending Ajansee as Ursprungsee of southwestern Cheta -Quellflusses Ajan . Its uninhabited region lies in the area of permafrost with frost rubble desert . On the mountain there is tundra with mosses and lichen .
