Kamil Szeremeta (* 11. October 1989 in Bialystok , Poland ) is a Polish professional boxer in the middleweight and current unbeaten EBU European champion.

Amateur career

Kamil Szeremeta boxed for Hetman Białystok and as an amateur competed in 192 fights with 168 wins. He was among other things Polish junior champion in 2006 and 2007, as well as Polish champion in 2009 and 2010 in the welterweight division. He was also a participant in the 2010 European Championship in Moscow and the 2011 World Cup in Baku . In 2010 he won the Feliks Stamm Tournament with a final victory against Serik Säpijew .

Professional career

Kamil Szeremeta won his professional debut on December 2, 2012 and also won his next 15 fights, all of which he contested in Poland. His defeated opponents included Lukasz Wawrzyczek, Rafał Jackiewicz , Artem Karpets and Kassim Ouma .

On February 23, 2018, he defeated Alessandro Goddi in the fight for the vacant European championship belt of the EBU by TKO in the second round and defended the title in September 2018 by knocking out Ruben Diaz in the tenth round. He won another title defense unanimously against Andrew Francillette in March 2019.
